Marcel comes to Imagine from Warsaw, Poland. He arrived in New York City in 2021, and before that, lived in Paris, Berlin, and Oslo. He learned to swim when he was seven years old and, at the age of ten, joined his first swim team in his native city. Apart from swimming, Marcel has also taught windsurfing and is a great enthusiast of sailing. An all-around 'waterman', he's tried virtually every water sports discipline there is! He believes strongly in the immense benefits of water in terms of mental health treatment and general well-being. Marcel is currently a psychology major and his biggest ambition is to become a certified psychoanalytic.
