Born and raised in Manhattan, Katherine began swimming at the age of 6 and by the age of 12 she was a member of the Riverbank Redtails swim team. Katherine has been a lifeguard since she was 16 and continues to use her experience in swimming to create a safe yet fun learning experience in the water. Before coming to Imagine, Katherine was an instructor at Lehman College's "learn to swim program". She is excited to be able to expand on her experience and love for the water with Imagine.
