Julia began swimming at the JCC on Long Island. Her aquatic journey continued as a lifeguard at a summer camp at Perlman Camp, where she honed her skills and developed a passion for teaching. A graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a degree in Psychology, Julia is inspired by the fluidity of movement that swimming offers, along with the opportunity to teach children from diverse backgrounds. Outside the pool, she is an artist and writer, with a deep appreciation for nature and the interconnectedness of all things. Julia once drove across the country through 24 states, a testament to her adventurous spirit!
