Jashen (Jah) was born and raised in Queens, where he enrolled in his first swim lessons at the relatively advanced age of eleven at the YMCA on Hillside Avenue. He took to the sport quickly and by the time he was fourteen, he was working as a swim instructor himself. Jah went on to Boyce College in Louisville, KY and studied for a Business Degree. He has taught consistently for over seven years and upon returning to NYC after college, he joined the Imagine family in early 2023.
