Evan's aquatic journey began at his neighborhood pool in Richmond, Virginia, and quickly evolved into a passion that led him to the national stage. As a member of Quest Swimming in Virginia, Evan qualified for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 400 & 200 IM, and went on to swim Division I at Virginia Tech. With a background in residential and industrial design, Evan brings a creative touch to his teaching. Inspired by his love for the ocean, he finds joy in watching his students mature and develop their own passion for the water. Outside the pool, Evan enjoys bodyboarding, hiking, and spending time with Labrador retrievers.
