Skye began swimming at a local community center in Minnesota before joining the St. Croix Swim Club when she was 11. Her competitive career continued through Macalester College, where she broke several school records and competed at the Division III National Championships. Drawn to working with children and passionate about sharing a lifelong skill, Skye loves helping new swimmers transform nervousness into excitement. She’s currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia, as she weaves her academic understanding of learning into the pool. When she’s not in the water, Skye enjoys drawing and reading, and inspiring young swimmers.
