Bobby (he/him) learned to swim deep in the heart of (Dallas) Texas. Early lessons soon led to a passion for racing, as Bobby went on to compete for the Sparkman Swim Club and the Mckinney North Varsity Swim Team. His competitive journey eventually led him to both coaching and teaching -- at the Splash Swim Team and Lifetime Fitness. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Bobby blends his artistic flair with his love for teaching, creating engaging and meaningful connections with his students. Outside the pool, he's a musician and artist, and once served as a Senior Guide in a youth-only woodshop and digital maker lab in Chicago.
