Raymond discovered his love for the water at age six during a family vacation to the Dominican Republic. Growing up, he recognized early that there was a critical gap in water safety and swim literacy within his own community -- despite having local recreational pools nearby. That realization sparked a mission in him: to pass on swimming as an essential, life-saving skill. Raymond brings a highly supportive and community-minded energy to the deck, focusing on building true water comfort and confidence. When he’s not teaching, Raymond is in school for cybersecurity, plays competitive paintball, and loves diving into 90s action movies and mixed martial arts.
