Growing up in Houston, Texas, Olivia spent her childhood swimming competitively for the Maplewood Marlins and the Westbury Wildcats. Specializing in distance events (despite her misgivings about the mile!), she’s also tackled open water swimming, along with surfing in Costa Rica. Olivia holds a B.F.A. in Acting with a Spanish minor from the University of Houston and brings her love of performance, humor, and creativity to everything she does, both in and out of the water. She’s passionate about helping kids build confidence, friendships, and life-long skills through swimming. Her favorite moments? Watching it click for a swimmer as they complete their first real lap, confident and unstoppable. When she’s not teaching, Olivia is a comedian, actor, reader, yogi, and all-around enthusiast for joy.
