Myla’s journey into the water at her local swimming pool in Kentucky then she began working as a lifeguard at the same local pool in Rinyville, KY, where her watchful eye soon turned into a passion for teaching. She believes that water safety is essential for families to truly enjoy the outdoors responsibly together. For Myla, the skills learned in the pool -- perseverance, self-assurance and much more -- translate to all other areas of life. While she studied aviation in college at Lewis University in Illinois, Myla is an artist at heart. When she isn’t helping swimmers find their wings in the water, she is likely at the gym or busy creating original animation.
