Maggie began swimming at age five at their local YMCA and competed with the Flying Fish club before swimming for the Evanston Wildkits swim team in Illinois throughout high school. They specialized in events like the 100 fly, 100 IM, and freestyle relays. A Reed College graduate in Environmental Studies and Economics, Maggie is currently pursuing a Master’s in Urban Planning at NYU. They started teaching swimming in high school and love helping others build confidence and enjoy the water safely. Outside of swimming, Maggie enjoys biking, hiking, cooking, and community organizing. They moved to Brooklyn last year and are excited to be part of the local community.
