Lainie’s lifelong connection to the water began at age three, fueled by watching her brother compete and eventually swimming every day herself. Her competitive journey spanned twelve years, from Georgetown-Scott County Sharks in Kentucky to Ensworth Aquatics in Tennessee, all while balancing her love for the stage. After a brief hiatus during her Musical Theatre studies at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lainie returned to the pool with a mission to share the joy of swimming with others. She thrives on witnessing those "lightbulb moments" when a student masters a new skill. Away from the pool, Lainie enjoys drawing, theatre, and trips to the beach. Fun fact: Lainie is a certified master at Mario Kart!
