Kiana Serette
Teacher
Kiana found instant joy in the water from her earliest lessons—at her local YMCA when she was three. While she eschewed the competitive side of the sport, Kiana became a lifeguard at 15 and swiftly advanced to become an instructor within six months. With experience teaching at multiple swim schools across New Jersey and also training the Lifetime Athletic swim team in Florham Park, Kiana seeks to foster not only swimming and safety skills but also resilience and self-assurance in the water. Beyond the pool, Kiana is a dedicated vocalist, having honed her skills since the age of five at Cicely Tyson Performing Arts School. She has also expanded her horizons working as a flight attendant, embracing the diversity of experiences and people the world has to offer.
