Julia’s competitive swimming journey began at age nine with the Aqua Gems in Middletown, NY, and carried her all the way through varsity high school squads to the club teams of Niagara University and the University of North Dakota. Swimming has always been a lifelong passion for Julia, making the transition to teaching a natural fit. Armed with a degree in Data Science, she balances analytical precision with a deep love for building relationships and tracking her students’ skill progression. Ultimately, she is driven by the fact that swimming saves lives. When she isn't sharing her passion for water safety, this scuba-certified instructor can be found trying out new fitness classes or traveling the world!
