Jonathan's aquatic career started young—at just six years old—before he joined the competitive swim team at Cuthbertson High School. A student of childhood education and sociology at Queens College, Jonathan understands how to build confidence, independence, and resilience in his students, both in and out of the water. Watching a child overcome their fear and gain a new skill is what inspires him most. He believes there's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student's confidence grow right before his eyes. A true world traveler, Jonathan loves exploring new places and has been to Panama, El Salvador, London, and Paris. He also enjoys basketball, running, and photography.
