Hannah Roche
Teacher
Hannah Roche’s aquatic journey began remarkably early at the YMCA in Morristown, NJ, where she first entered the water at just six months old. A lifelong swimmer, Hannah competed for several years with teams like the Jersey Wahoos and Wedgewood Swim Club. Her transition to teaching felt natural, starting at age 15 while balancing her own training and babysitting teammates' siblings. A George Washington University graduate with a background in theater and criminal justice, Hannah brings a sense of performance and precision to the pool. She finds her greatest reward in witnessing that "lightbulb moment" when a student’s skills finally click. Outside the water, she is an avid reader and writer with a surprising talent: a convincing Australian accent!
