Daniela's journey into the world of swimming began in a unique setting—while her brother was undergoing hydrotherapy. As she learned to swim from his physiotherapist, a passion for the water was ignited. Hailing from Pereira, Colombia, Daniela pursued a degree in Sports and Recreation Science at the Technological University of Pereira, where she mastered all competitive strokes and trained in open water swimming. Her teaching inspiration blossomed during college as she discovered her love for guiding children through their own aquatic journeys. Outside the pool, Daniela enjoys reading and spending time with her pets. Fun fact: As a Pisces, her love for the water just may have been destined from the start!
