Christine first learned to swim in the rivers of Yichang, China—the same waters where her parents learned. After moving to the U.S., she joined the YMCA Tigersharks and later the Lifetime Swim Team, competing for years with butterfly as her signature stroke. Now studying computer science and economics at NYU, Christine was eager to return to the pool in a new way—by sharing her love of swimming with children. She finds joy in watching her students grow more confident with every lesson. Outside the pool, Christine enjoys arts and crafts, building Legos, and playing video games—and her favorite color is pink!
