Adel discovered his love for the water at the Flushing Meadows Rec Center, a passion that eventually led him to swim competitively for the McBurney Manta Rays for four years. Following in the footsteps of his older brothers — all of whom were lifeguards and swim instructors — Adel joined them, intent on helping the next generation find comfort and safety in the pool. Currently studying aircraft maintenance at Vaughn College, Adel brings a patient, detail-oriented approach to his lessons. Outside of his time at the pool and school, Adel loves to cook.
