Sarah learned to swim in Houston, Texas at two-years-old and almost immediately joined her neighborhood swim team. Growing up, she swam for her club and then for her high school, where she was team captain and really developed a love for helping to create and foster a team culture of success. She moved to NYC to swim for Hunter College and went on to earn her BA in English and Education. Sarah started teaching swim lessons at 16 and has taught every age from newborns to adults. At every level, she is motivated by the confidence students gain through their growth in the water. She hopes that all of her swimmers come to believe that working hard can be really fun! In her free time, Sarah knits, reads, writes, and goes to tons of movies.
