Nora is a native New Yorker who may have been swimming before she was walking in the waters off the Rockaway peninsula. She attended St. Anthony's High School on Long Island where she swam as a Lady Friar before heading off to Mary Washington College, in Fredericksburg, VA where she joined the synchronized swimming team. Nora returned to New York to attend law school at St. John's University and now swims Masters in both artistic / synchro swimming, along with competitive swimming with Team New York Aquatics. She is a passionate advocate for water safety and swim equity in NYC. Her dream is to one day swim in the Neptune pool at the Hearst Castle in California!
