Lauren learned to swim in Colorado at the age of four and quickly fell in love with the water. By eight, she was competing for local swim clubs, including Five Parks Swimming and a team in Steamboat Springs, where she raced in mountain competitions. Her passion for swimming naturally led her to teaching—she began coaching at just 15 and has been sharing her love for the sport ever since. Lauren finds the most joy in building connections with her students and watching their confidence grow with every lesson. She holds a degree in Psychology and Communication from CU Boulder, which deepened her understanding of how kids learn best. When she’s not in the water, she loves dancing, reading mystery novels, and spending time with her beloved grey cat, Frenchie—named after her favorite character in Grease!
