Kayla comes from a family of swimmers. She started swimming competitively at the early age of five with the LaGuardia Twisters in Queens, competing in meets across the Metro area, and breaking team records that still stand to this day! Kayla has been working as a lifeguard at various pools since she was 16. Also an accomplished dancer, she attended the Frank Sinatra High School of Performing Arts as a dance major. She has long taught both swimming and dance to all ages. Kayla currently attends Queens College, where she is studying for her masters in psychology with the goal to one day become a psychiatrist. In her spare time she loves hanging out with friends, swimming some laps, studying, and is also a sought-after babysitter!
