Jane joins us from the beautiful islands of the Bahamas where she grew up in a swimming family, with every sibling competing on Bahamian swim teams. She learned to swim at the age of four and joined her first team just one year later. From the age of nine to nineteen, Jane represented her country at a wide variety of international competitions throughout the Caribbean and Central and Latin America, including CARIFTA, the Junior Olympics, and the Caribbean Island Swimming Championships. She honed her teaching skills with over ten years of experience as an instructor at the Betty Kelly Kenning National Swim Complex for the government of the Bahamas. Jane is also the proud mother a 13-year-old daughter who loves to swim and is an inspiring dancer.
