Hannah was raised in Queens, where she first learned to swim at the age of five. After two years of lessons, she joined her first swim team, at the Laguardia Aquatic Club in Long Island City. For the next ten years, Hannah swam competitively for the Twisters. In between, every summer she would visit family in Bolivia, where she swam with Club Tiburones de Cochabamba. When she turned 16, she began lifeguarding for the pools and beaches overseen by the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation. Hannah went to Cathedral High School in Upper Manhattan on a full scholarship, graduated with a 4.0 GPA, with goals to enter the medical field. During that time, she began tutoring children and babysitting for multiple families where she found the most fulfillment in helping kids learn and interpret the world. She is now a student at Hunter College, majoring in Psychology. These days, her career focus is on becoming a school psychologist so she can further aid child development, diagnose mental or behavioral disorders, and provide resources to parents and caregivers.
