Growing up in New Jersey, Giselle took sporadic swim lessons at various programs, but it wasn’t until 8th grade that the sport really became a part of her life. That year, she started swimming competitively on the North Brunswick Rapids swim team, and for the next four years she swam on her high school’s team, where she was also a manager and captain. Giselle long balanced her swimming with a host of other passions and hobbies, including choir, flamenco dance, and her school’s theater company, but she's always found herself returning to the water. She is currently attending Pace University with a major in Economics and a minor in French. Although she no longer swims competitively, she still loves being in the water and hopes to help her students feel comfortable and confident in the pool!
