Antrico learned to swim at age nine because his mother wanted him to be safe in the water during the annual summer trip to visit family in Florida. He joined his first swim team - the St. Johns Finmen - as soon as he completed this learn-to-swim program. When he was fifteen, Antrico joined the well-known AGUA swim team in the Upper East Side. The team helped propel him to college swimming, where he helped the SUNY Cortland Men's team win a SUNYAC Championship in his sophomore year. Upon graduating with a Bachelors in Geographic Information Systems, Antrico moved to California for three years, residing in San Jose. There, he discovered a love for a frozen water sport: Ice Hockey. Currently, Antrico is in the process of switching careers - from GIS to Information Technology. In his free time, he can be found at the ice rink playing hockey or cycling around NYC.
